Miss Molly the Model

The biggest problem with having a class full of photographers is that nobody wants to model. We are all more comfortable behind the camera than standing in the spotlight. It doesn't help that there are generally 15 or 20 people standing around watching the photographer and the model interact, providing suggestions and criticisms.

Some photographers do a surprisingly good job in both roles. Molly is both an inspiring photographer and an awesome model.

Getting great expressions out of models can be a real chore. Molly had lots of awesome expressions. All I had to do was pick an emotion, yell it out, and press the button. Done and done.

Fairly fun light setup - two gridded lights behind her and a beauty dish for the key. I love the highlights, especially with the vivid expressions she gave us.
