Humphreys Peak Hike

I hiked to the top of the tallest peak in Arizona yesterday, accompanied by my buddy Ryan. It was a solid 7 hour hike from the base of Snowbowl to the peak and back. We probably spent a total of four or five minutes at the summit, miserably trying to hold our cameras at 39 degrees with 35mph winds howling at us and threatening to knock us over. 12 degrees with the wind chill.

The OMD EM-10 made an excellent hiking partner, especially with the 15mm bodycap lens. Set it and forget it. The camera handled the extreme temperature and humidity like a champ, though I probably need to find an alternative solution to the big BlackRapid camera strap... Something a little smaller would probably fit better and be less in the way.
